July 2011/June 2012 This is a 15-20 hour placement, providing both individual and group supervision weekly, as well as program specific trainings as needed, and presentations on clinical topics of interest. The Center for Healthy Development offers high quality supervision and training to students and interns interested in the theory and practice of psychoanalytic psychotherapy.
The required hours are as follows:
Training and Supervision 1 hour individual supervision (arranged with individual supervisor)
Tuesday, 10 a.m. - 11:15 a.m. –
New Skills and Choices meeting
Tuesday, 11:30 a.m.- 1:30 p.m. –
2 hours group supervision
Thursday, 11:30 a.m. - 12:50 p.m. –
Other required trainings and meetings, including:
Special Topics presentations
Business meeting
Staff process meeting
Program specific trainings or meetings, as needed
Clinical requirements
Lead a minimum of two 2-hour groups weekly.
Be available to provide a minimum of 2 intakes/orientation sessions/week.
4-8 General Clinical Services (GCS) patients/week
